Lucid Air Customers Are Already Complaining

The all-electric and ultra-luxurious Lucid Air sedan has finally arrived with the first batch of customer deliveries taking place last October. New dealer showrooms are sprouting up in key cities across the country and this expansion will continue. All the more impressive is the $169,000 Dream Edition's EPA-certified range of 520 miles, besting the Tesla Model S by over 100 miles. But, there are some early customers who already have a justifiable complaint.
Bloomberg reports that some driver-assist features were not included in the first batch of Air Dream Edition deliveries. Customers noticed and the complaints started almost immediately. Prior to delivery, Lucid said every Dream Edition would come standard with the DreamDrive advanced driver-assistance system.

It's understandable to a point that a new automaker like Lucid Motors might still have a few issues to resolve. It's not like Tesla has had completely error-free rollouts and yet it still managed to become the world's most valuable automaker, now at around $1 trillion.
Aside from Tesla and Rivian, Lucid Motors is one of the most promising start-up EV automakers right now. Hopeful players like Faraday Future have run into some major financial problems. Others have done a great job of releasing images and details of their EV offerings but, to date, have not shown an actual production-ready vehicle.
